SFM Assets for Fan Made Animations?

I always enjoyed many youtube productions of Garry's Mod and SFM videos using Valve Assets and other 3D model assets. Would the development team be open to sharing out these models to the community to use in their own productions?

I am not an animator by any means, I'm a musician type, but I would love to see what other people create!
