The problem with just having joystick support is that only people with joysticks benefit from the smooth flight and maybe easier aiming. Don't get me wrong, we need something other than just keyboard controls but it is pretty hard to find a good and balanced solution.

That does not sound great at all because they can probably intercept and change the data wich would mess up the whole experience. It will be filled with hackers in no time. hope the devs got a solution for that.
