    maybe loud speakers could be disabled in safe space but would work fine in lawless space? that way if somebody is too loud you can just shoot them, it also incentives leaving the safe zone to blast jams.

    I actually read it a few times to make sure I knew what you were saying, and I'm still not exactly sure what you meant but. If stations are always vulnerable then you're depending on stations to always be defended. Otherwise when the attack fleet rolls in there won't be a defense fleet...
