add to material stats collision resist so some materials will fall apart after collision and some of them will kind of ignore it. something like high armor material will likely to break after collision cos of high hardness and low armor material will mostly ignore it cos its ductile

There already is this attribute for different materials. "Structural durability" sounds a lot like what you're suggesting.

For example, beams are normally made of bastium with a structural durability of 80. You could make those beams out of ajitite (structural durability of 20) but it may take more of them to do the same job, or, in the event of a collision, more of your ship would fall apart.
