I read from the FAQ that you have tried using human characters in Starbase, which didnt work out eventually.
But, you probably do have the models saved somewhere, you could use them as npc slave workers for the robot factions..
They could be just like generic background, as non-interactable characters or something like that, but they would bring some nice tone to the robotic world of Starbase.
Just a thought.
