Radioactive ores and asteroids will give the players more depth when it comes to mining. These radioactive ores can only be mined by with the top of the line equipment which can be a step up from basis mining equipment. These radioactive ores have to be mined from a range and your ship will need radioactive protection. Once these ores are mined they will need to be stored in radioactive ore containers that contains the radiation and use a bit more power than your normal containers. Ore can be detected with radiation detectors and have there scale. The larger the radiation asteroid the increased ranged of its radiation AOE. These ores would be considered high value and hot for PVP zones. I believe these ores could be used in crafting new types of powers generators or upgraded fuel rods. Raw ore processing could add a level to crafting in which you need certain ores in raw form to be processed. This will give miners to use cargo lock framed on the hunt for certain ores. I believe these ideas would add more to mining and give more customization to the design of mining ships.
