About Us
The Godhand are a mature, International community with a lust for PvP. Comprising of a core group of members who have played a range of games together, we'll be focusing on small gang warfare, guerilla tactics and small scale piracy in Starbase. Our goals are pretty humble, we're not interested in large scale politics or having a huge blues list, that just means less people to kill. Instead, we'll select potential allies very carefully and ensure that our list of friendlies remains small so that we have plenty of targets to choose from.
Our recruitment will be selective. We're focusing on quality over quantity. We're looking for PvP'ers first and foremost. Truth be told, none of us know how good we'll actually be at the game until we're able to play it, so right now we're not focusing too much on 'skill' but we do want people who have good heads on their shoulders and an appetite for blowing up internet spaceships. You'll need to be pretty thick skinned because you won't be making many friends outside of our group, we'll be bathing in the salty tears of our victims. As a great man once said, "we aim to misbehave".
Rules
Our community rules are pretty standard, but below you'll find a list of them anyhow:
- You must be 21+ years of age and have a mature personality to join our community. You'll need to be pretty thick skinned too as there's plenty of ribbing and banter to be had.
- Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
- Be respectful to others. This applies to your fellow Godhand members, but also on any other Starbase channels you may be a part of (Forums, other faction discords etc.) We have plenty of banter, but it's important to know when to cut the crap and get down to business.
- We have a zero-tolerance policy on hacking and exploiting.
Mission Statement
Just in-case you're still unclear after reading the "about us" section, our goal in Starbase is pretty simple: To be dirty, stinking, thieving scallywags. To pirate our way to glory and profit or die trying. We're suckers for pretty fireworks in the dead of space and plan to make every session feel like the fourth of July. As a Godhand, you will kill (and be killed) lots, you'll need to be thick skinned and quick thinking and you're probably best leaving your conscience at the door (trust me, we've tried the "friendly neighbourhood pirates" thing before and it just doesn't work out). If pew pew, pretty 'splosions and killing pixel spaceships is your thing then look no further!
