Warp signatures are created whenever a ship lands at its destination, and more are created ontop of it when people warp to that signature.
To avoid clutter both in the menu and outside of it, I suggest that if a new warp signature is to be created within 1-2km of another warp signature, the new one is removed and the old one has its timer reset. Another idea would be just to delete the old one in proximity, but that can be non userfriendly in the menu if multiple people are warping to a signature in succession.
