Can we empty out meteorites and ice and build warships on them?

It seems that meteorites are much cheaper than ships, and there is a lot of space after hollowing out. After shutting down the engine, they look very hidden from the outside.

All we need to do is sneak up and launch a powerful bomb. Then the enemy ship will be full of fear for every meteorite around, XD

Asteroids are also heavy and not structurally sound. You might be able to build something inside of one, but it might not be practical to move one with thrusters due to the weight or due to not being able to connect enough beams to have a solid structure that doesn't just fall apart when you try to move.

I am referring to completely hollowing out the asteroid, which may reduce the weight by 90% and allow the micropropellers hidden inside to work.

Or we cut the asteroid into pieces and paste it on the hull to create the effect of a camouflage suit.
