I could see factions making orders for certain resources/materials/ships from mining and factory companies.

What about noob killers stalking their prey from the moment they spawn their ship in? If I were one, that's what I would do. Automatically makes me think that noobs should gather in 'schools' just to survive.

I would ideally like to see a semi-destructible moon where mining is available but only to a certain depth - where you hit bedrock. This would give players more agency in their contributions to the game universe and provide more reasons to defend and raid locations stationed there. Of course...

Has anyone given thought to how one would despawn cap ships? Should it be the same, or should there be specialized docks constructed just for their use? Not sure if it's a big deal, but it would certainly be uncanny to have a megaton spaceship blip into or out of existence.

There are a lot of different sized pieces of the same type (beams, for example). I think it would help builders to visualize what piece they need if there was a simple hotkey for cycling between the different sizes of a length of a beam instead of going into the menu, clicking and dragging it...
