Hmm I can agree that a system of counters will be beneficial to the game, especially the idea of "no meta." There is a counter to any advantage that makes you vulnerable in other ways. Like Rock paper scissors with skill.
Hmmm... Thanks for your reply. It seems like an important thing for any projectile to inherit the momentum of the ship it's on for aesthetics and being more accurate in battles. It is good that this feature is planned for players though.
I just saw one of the ship battle videos, and it was awesome, but I was wondering why the bullets seem to appear behind the ship when they are fired. Is this just a lag or processing thing, or are bullets unaffected by ship momentum?

I think tag team ships will be the most effective. Ships that are small and fast, but have a crew of 2, one flying, one on a mounted gun. This way the Gunner can always be firing at a Target even when not facing it.
So last progress notes they posted some videos of how the public transportation works. Do those ships use rangefinders or something else? They seemed to be able to align themselves with the opposite landing pad, which is out of rangefinder range. Or at least the yellow beams were not turned on...
