    Liked the idea of that. Had to make the ship non-safe zone qualified though, either having some weaponry or good speed. The worst thing that would happen to a new player would be getting their only ship instantly destroyed once the stepped out of the safe zone.

    I got it from the wiki and progress reports, but I guessed the size of the battery. Welp you have better info in CA so I guess you win the battery argument, but I still insist that a ship with just auto cannons should be classed as a fighter.

    You only have about 1 minute of firing time with 1 clip anyways. Any time you are not firing will be a waste of reactor output if you don't use batteries.

    One autocannon clip is 500 shots using 150 power each, meaning 7.5 batteries needed per autocannon. 4 or 6 batteries stacked together approximate the size of 1 reactor. It is not that big, just a block under each autocannon.

    With laser cutting and welding in the game you can make complex shapes with armor plates. This makes me wonder if it will be possible to make a specific device that jams a tiny ship onto the player's robotic body and limbs, acting as an exoskeleton. Maybe even controlling the thing with emotes.

    Yeah that is necessary. Tearing half the ship down to get to a broken wire/filling every small hole on the armor/manually changing every clip on every autocannon is not what we play the game for. It will also greatly discourage combat.
