Customizable plate sizes

I am trying to make an arrowhead cockpit
I am struggling with the angles because there are just no plates or glass plates that fit if we could stretch the sides of plates or shrink we could make perfectly fitting ship parts and fewer bolts needed.
I think this will also improve severs since we would then be using fewer parts per ships

of course making plates bigger or shrink them comes with the needed resources

Agreed, but ditto for frames.

Custom plates will lead to custom length beams which would go along way to solving problems using angles other then 90. But it likely would also cause problems dev side or we would have had them from the start. KSP2 sounds like it will have procedural wings so you can make them more or less to the size you want. Something along the lines of the mods that added that. Dual Universe looked like all blocks were placed by putting down the points for the size. Avorion also used custom block sizes. So it can be done.
