as anyone knows, the way the research system is implemented results in the following:
If you are away from the origin stations, for example farming around your own station anxiously awaiting the station bug fixes, and still want to progress in the crafting tree, you have to delete a few million metric tons of parts while being unable to do anything meaningful in game.
A good friend told me you could use macros for this, so you don't hurt your wrist and kill your mouse in the process of accumulating the millions of required crafting points. I was wondering if anyone else is using those and could give some implementation advice.
Such macros would obviously only be required until the already promised delete button is implemented, since after that them not being allowed would be quite understandable.
