Feedback to Frozenbyte on how to Allow for More Content

Hello, I am Inigma, CEO of ITC, currently now one of the most active corps in the game, where perhaps with current player numbers could very well represent 10% of the active player base during some hours. We would like to provide the following feedback to drive organic player based content (the best content there is):

Make Space Ship Design Center universally accessible in game, not from a specific location.
When design represents more than half of the hours players spend in this game, making ship design relegated to a physical in-game location makes no sense. It keeps players from travelling with their friends, or being part of any crew. And crews are needed for content. The long travel times demand a ship editor accessible anywhere, at anytime.

Keep the endo avatar in the game, susceptible to accidents and death if out of the safe zone. If endo dies, then when player leaves the editor, they see their death screen.

Of course, make the building of ships require a physical location, but ship design should not be. The designer should be accessible apart from the server, and available locally to offline players.

Reduce the Elysium City Safe Zone to 5km
Shiphenge was a thing. Bring it back!

If you want to create a safe zone corridor from the gate to the moon, do so with substations.

Enable spawning to bound NPC stations and to Elysium City from anywhere, but remove inventory on spawn
This will enable greater content opportunity - to be able to quickly muster at any of these locations, assuming you have items moved previously there to enable you to suit up, get armed, or get flying.

The gate and the border safe zone areas are natural chokepoints. Please permit and even encourage camping.
Last month's bans put a chilling effect on the pvp community in Starbase. The greatest online battles have taken place when such camps are broken by frustrated and determined players. ITC needs pirates and griefers so we can kill them and rally more players to our cause and ranks.

Retire the Empire and Kingdom factions. These are draining players away from more active corps.
I know you guys like the idea. But right now there doesn't seem to be a point to associate with either or. Maybe later in the game development you could reintroduce the Empire and Kingdom meta factions as you develop in-game content generators related to them. But for now, the actual factions, are siphoning off new players who otherwise could join more active corps with more ambitious content generating goals.

Focus one entire development cycle on quality of life.
I know this isn't a content suggestion, but it's a player retention suggestion, and more retained players = more content.
- Make mining less tedious: give us the ability to delete unwanted ores automatically.
- Allow players to remove themselves from shared ships! The number of unwanted shared ships is quickly cluttering spawn menus for larger corps like ITC, especially when owners can not be contacted.
- Enable players to bind to more than one reconstruction machine to enable redundant spawns and prolong fights.
- Increase the range of reconstruction machines to infinite to enable faster response times to content.
- Allow Reconstruction Machine owners to set automatic binds for corp members, group members, or friends.

Just some ideas. Thanks for reading.

Do you realize that the game is just not ready yet? My personal vision of the game is it will take many more years before it will match the game. What you require will be but I don't think so as you see.

1) Remove ores. I think in the future there will be a special mechanism, a device that will allow us to filter out unnecessary ores

2) If you strongly skew the game in PVP, then the game will finally die. Since the essence of the economy of the game is ores, and if ore is not mined, everything will stop

3) Perhaps in the future there will be a device that will be an echo sounder that will highlight all asteroids within a radius of 500 meters in the sphere, but not show the ores themselves

4) Perhaps there will be teleports in the game that players will be able to put on stations, but the number of teleports delivered will be limited and their cost will be expensive

5) In the game, I think there will be arenas for battles. Where each player or group of players will be able to shoot at each other for fun

6) Soon, active radiation will be introduced into the game. Where fans of piracy will be able to track ships.

And the last. Understand the game is just not ready yet. This game needed one more year before going into early access

Hey there! Just wanted to provide some clarification on two points C:

The gate and the border safe zone areas are natural chokepoints. Please permit and even encourage camping.
Last month's bans put a chilling effect on the pvp community in Starbase. The greatest online battles have taken place when such camps are broken by frustrated and determined players. ITC needs pirates and griefers so we can kill them and rally more players to our cause and ranks.
The vast majority of bans that we've issued have been for cheats and other exploitative behavior; we haven't banned anyone for camping the warp gates, nor for any action related to PvP :') As the code of conduct states, the only area that you are not allowed to camp is the Origin safezone, as we want to encourage and facilitate the expansion of new players.

Empire and Kingdom are in an interesting little spot, but they are intended as fully-fledged companies, and it's important that they be allowed to grow naturally in order to fulfill some of their roles: That is, the on-boarding of new players, and also allowing Frozenbyte a natural point of ingress in case we'd like to push and prod the game universe in some way. Apart from that, they are entirely player-run companies, and we consider their interests as legitimate as we would for any other company.
