Jobs Board

A board to post jobs similar to the market board where player can post their jobs and paiment like:
Jobs (escort, transportation, bount hunt, mining and etc)
Paiment Method: (ores, credits, parts, ships, blueprints....)
Expiration time: not sure how to implement this part but player could estimate an period(days, hours etc) to acomplish the task and in case of failure the task return to the board.

Just make it yourself.
You need a bit of yolol,
a trusted individual that takes the payment when the job gets posted and distributed it to the people that complete the jobs, (pretty sure this wouldnt be able to be automated)
and a good place to put the board.

The yolol would take care of who posted it, who took it and if it was completed (with robot confirmation). It then can use the same information in a big af storage room in a station or on a outside server (not sure if starbase allows apis or playermade "apis") to archive it.
You could also post pirates and similar stuff. You could do the same with an external website or simply with a discord server as well.
The most important part is simply the trusted individual that takes and distributes the payment.

Player solution would'nt be as good as dev implementation but it's an option.

I have a Discord server / Group already set up with the intention of being a job board primarily. I haven't given it much love in the recent past, but likely will during the CA EA gap along with a name change. (See my signature for a little more info, even if it's old info)

Perhaps a more custom solution would be even better. In any case, a solution that's not in the game may be more useful as it could be accessed without starting the game. Maybe you don't want to bother playing some days if there aren't any good jobs.

I agree a job system would be awesome and should be constrained by the devs instead of relying on custom yolol code or just an honor system.


A public board system at the Origin Stations and even a craftable one for use at our SZ stations.
