While watching game play, the only light source appears to be coming from the sun in the game's solar system, however there are tons of other bright stars in the background. To be honest the shadows are so dark that the asteroids appear to be fully dark. What I mean by that is that when there is no light source the asteroids are black. Black asteroids against a vast universe of hundreds of light sources traveling trillions of miles should still technically produce a minimum light against the asteroids. My recommendation is to make the most dark of shadows less dark so the asteroids are not black against a background filled with thousands of stars.
