Currently, if a ship is wrecked, and then recovered, it can only be spawned in time limited despawn areas. This means you only have 1 minute to make changes if you spawn at the market, which you need to to buy the parts to fix the ship, or 5 minutes at the ship store.
This makes it very annoying to try and fix a ship, to the point that it is easier to simply buy a new one. But that means everytime you wreck a ship, you have to buy a new one that then sits in the ship spawning menu, with the exact same name as the broken ones (in the case of a Hauler).
There needs to be a dedicated repair area with a long or no despawn time limit, and access to a shop to buy parts.
Better yet, there should be a ship repair/edit station similar to the ship designer, where you only pay for changes made to a ship (at a marked up price for the parts). This would make it much easier to repair broken ships rather than having to replace them. Players would get much better milage out of their ships.
Also, please make a way to change the name of bought ships.
