Receiver won't snap correctly

Trying to put receivers on my ship, but they won't snap correctly to a hardpoint or any surface. They won't fine adjust angle to match the surface and keep wanting to go off center to the hardpoints. They even try to snap in mid air no were near any surface.

I resolved this same issue by placing the receiver down, picking it up, and then trying to snap it to the hardpoint.

Yea, bug seems to be in placing from inventory. They mush not be using the same snap code as when moving with "E"
