Ship blueprints

Would anyone with the alpha be able to upload one of the starter ship files somewhere? I'd love to mess around with one.

I’m not sure if there is a way we can export ships from the game, unless you mean to recreate the ships in a program.

Ah, I assumed the ships were just files somewhere.

They are, but they're a game's own file format that we don't have a converter from. Unless you have the alpha we can't share blueprints.

I guess that's what I mean. Could I have one of those (in the native format)? Just want to mess with the file.

I suppose the best solution, so that the same type of ships does not breed, is to create drawings and use a virtual vice-rector
If you want to create the same type of work, use a mock-up hangar in which you can create a drawing and a hangar for a 3D printer for your drawings. Using such a printer required a certain amount of resources. It is also possible to cascade such printers to build larger ships.
An important nuance. It is imperative to prohibit the creation of drawings from existing ships, so that other people's work would not be so easy to copy if any ship leaks or someone recovers.
This mechanics will not allow you to discount work the CreateMakers
