We are a mining faction. Flying from Zone 5 is very long and tedious. Return from there with the cargo for at least 4 hours. Maybe it is worth making an automatic unmanned flight of ships between the specified stations with the indication of certain flight parameters? While the cargo is flying, you can do other things, but sitting for 4 hours is tiring. Such ships can be intercepted of course, which will leave PVP the possibility of interception

Already possible. Good avoidance script and receiver-based navigation.
Sadly only within 1000km from origin.

That's wrong, ships don't get calculated if there is no player within 1km. And even if there is, if the the ship changes LOD for the player hosting it or switches host completely, it stops immediately.

Already possible. Well, kind of.

1) You don't fly through the asteroid field if you attempt to cross vast distances. You either fly above or below it. Full speed and no risk of colliding with anything. If you do that you can easily be afk during vast periods of the flight. No Yolol - scripts needed.
2) Once you are close to the place you want to reach, dive back into the belt.
3) Profit.

It is very easy to find the quickest way to the top or bottom of the belt even outside ISAN range. Worked well for me so far.

You can also try ship tracking

Yes ships stop auto flying if no player close enough

But with ship tracking you can fly 1 hauler while another or potentially more than 1 other ship follows you with out a pilot

It may be risky if the ship following you drops out of range and stops.. but with the right scripting you should be able to detect that and stop/go back to get it following you againg

With one ship auto piloting

And others following you can afk transport multiple ships

You mentioned "tiring" and "tedious", so I thought that AFK would be a solution.

I agree that some way to remotely host a ship would be really useful. Although not sure how many PCs can handle pretty much running the game twice at the same time (hosting not only second ship, but also loading all the things it flies past).
