Dynamic beams
the first idee is dynamic beams and plates usuly therse always a beam with the right length but as soon as you build with 45° 30° 15° beams nothing fits any more
so how about adding a dynamic beam were the builder can define the exact length of the beam form 1-396cm that way we can finaly fill the gabs left by the special beams
custom plates
a 396cmx396cm plate with a grid to draw lines and cut parts of the plates or even bend the plates into 15° 30° 45° 90° plates should not be super difficult as well to implement since everything is already made out of voxels they would also fit very well with the comming factorys for example we could build cnc laser cutters to manufacture those custom plates
A better paint system
having only a fixed amount of colours that each need to be unlocked individual is not only extreamly limiting but also extreanly tedious
how about looking at the paint tool like a printer with a red cartridge a blue cartridge and a green cartridge as well a black and white
upon onlock of the red cartridge you get a red color slider 0-255 the green cartridge gives the green color slider the blue the blue one
black and white are a single onlock for saturation and brightness and then there could be the more expensive unlocks for
transparency (decals and windows only) and reflectivness
the second part of better paint system would be better color regions for parts other then plates
for example i tryed to paint a turret cradle armor my expectation was that the white part changes the color while in reality the whithe part stayed white while the small dark grey line on the armor got extreamly dark with a touch of red not only should we be able to paint the part we like in the color we like but also paint a single part in multiple colors only exeptions would be the tier indicating color on tierd components like the blue/t1 red/2 yellow/t3 lines on thrusters
the last thing of the list is more decals and mirrored versions of all non number or letter decals
