there seems to be a problem with the second last question in the survey. it refuses to allow me to submit without a valid url, but if i follow the instructions linked in the question then i get a code and not a link. any way to fix it?

Your SteamID and profile links are different things, so your ID should not be a link at all. On the Steam Support page it says that your SteamID should look something like this: STEAM_0:1:1234567

Alternatively, you can just link your Steam profile. Just go to your Steam profile and use that URL.

Ellu, the problem is that submitting the Steam ID per the linked help article generates an "invalid url" error on the survey, only the steam profile url is able to be submitted.

That's odd, it should allow both URL and freeform text submissions. Thanks for letting us know!
