Unlimited equipment storage

As you can see from the "For Sale List", there are various raw materials in the equipment. Only I don't want to sell them, but process them for crafting. When farming, I can move the raw materials in the equipment indefinitely by moving a stack twice to one of the two places. From my point of view, it's a bug.

I took apart a starter ship in the ezb and most of the modules went into the "Equipment" area. Only way to see them is from the market Equipment tab. Tried using crafting menu to add items to hotbar and I get a combined count of items that are in both places. Example, I have 2 panel modules in station storage and 1 in "Equipment". It list 3 in the hotbar but I can't use any because it seems to want to pull from Equipment first. So Item shows up in the ZEB world, but can't be placed.
