Update 20.8.2020 (Build 231)

New features
  • Partially new layout for the starting station
  • Overlapping parts are now allowed in Ship Designer, more information below
Added
  • Added bolt profiles for raw material cubes
  • Added bolt profile for Coolant Recharge Rack
Animations
  • Long Rifle
    • 1st person relaxed animation polish
    • 1st person carry animation polish
    • 1st person fire animation polish
  • Removed sit start animations for now
  • Neutral bow emote animation tweak
Asteroids
  • Fix for asteroid hauling sometimes not rewarding credits
Audio
  • New sounds for structural integrity nearly failing
  • Adjusted thruster audio distance attenuations
  • Fixed automatic weapon loop sounds triggering issues
  • Deleted a distorted component from thruster acceleration sounds

Feedback Tool
  • Fixed all icons in the image editor being Welding Tool icons
Gameplay
  • Material prices adjusted
  • Material properties updated
    • Arkanium corrosion resistance from 200 to 800
    • Exorium Density increased from 90 to 310, Armor Value from 500 to 2000
    • Lukium Armor Value increased from 900 to 3500, Density increased from 150 to 350
    • Tengium Structural Durability reduced from 60 to 50
    • Aegisium Armor Value increased from 900 to 1000
    • Charodium Armor Value increased from 1800 to 2700, Density from 70 to 150
  • Fixed autoreload animation happening twice, if a new mag was dragged to the ammo slot from the station storage
GUI
  • Fixed Message of the Day opening every time when launching the game
  • Fixed Quickbar not saving the assigned tools and weapons if the player logged out
Inventory
  • Fixed dragging armor pieces to slots failing

  • Added mouse interaction settings for Welding Tool

Ship Designer
  • Fixed Save As dialog not working properly
  • Fixed the game crashing to placement preview when moving large amounts of components
  • Fixed a potential crash when moving multiple big modules around
  • Allowed overlapping parts in Ship Designer; you can load and save blueprints containing overlapping parts but not buy them
  • MUUS now contains only the latest 100 steps instead of all steps since the start of the session
  • Weld seams can no longer be selected in the scene or from the selection drop-down menu
Ships
  • New dev-made ship: Labourer
  • Fixed ship forward movement drifting to the wrong direction
  • Potential fix for ship spawning issues
  • Fixed player occasionally drifting away from the pilot chair while sitting
  • Fixed Triangle Thrusters not properly detecting being blocked by thin plates
  • Fixed ship having disabled controls if the ship had another ship locked in Cargo Lock Frame
  • Fixed typos in descriptions of player-made ships

  • Fixed LODs loading at certain positions when they shouldn't
  • Fixed problematic floor decals in various buildings
  • Adjusted the position of player-made ship Aphleios in Rando 1 Shop
  • Removed player-made ships from the original Ship Shop
  • Removed railings from Mining Job's Collection Area
  • Added hologram LODs to Command Center, Ship Showroom, Ship Design Workshop and Rando 1
  • Added hologram logos to hallway entrances that lead inside the Rando Shop
  • Updated Rando Ship Shop logo
  • Updated Sunny Ship Center sign textures
  • Updated Starting Station's layout containing Marketplace, Workhub and Command Center.

Tools
  • Welding rules adjusted:
    • Weldings are allowed on all snap points; you can now weld beams that are crossed
    • Maximum of 2 degree angle between two beams are allowed
    • Maximum of 0.5 cm gap between two beams are allowed
    • At least 50% of the contacting area is required
  • Build Tool
    • Fixes to material calculations
  • Universal Tool
    • Improved blueprint behaviour when re-enabling holograms
  • Edited Tools and Ammo related texts
Weapons
  • Battle Rifle: Removed drum magazine which intersected with the regular one
Known issues
  • Previous Quickbar binds may disappear if the bound item is moved to station storage and the player logs out.
  • Blueprints won't necessarily show up in freshly rented lots until restarting the game.
  • Welds are shown as missing localizations in Ship Designer scene view window and can be selected.
