Update 3.12.2020 (Alpha 305)

New features
  • Transponders to lots and player stations
  • Automatic safe zones for player stations
  • Item listing in Auction House
  • Test Flight in Ship Shop terminals
Known Issues
  • Cannot sell item collections in Auction House
  • Test Flight in Ship Shop terminals may spawn you inside the ship structure due to missing collision when it is still loading
    • We recommend disabling your magnetic boots (default bind G) before entering test flight to prevent this
  • If player claims a resigned player station, the edit button will only appear after a relog or when returning to the station
  • Stations created before the patch do not form a safe zone automatically
    • You can resign and reclaim ownership as a workaround to activate the safe zone
    • Resigning a station can be done via the terminal inside the Foundation Unit and is available as soon as the terminal is built
  • Proia station may keep reloading for some players if they used Insurance Transfer to travel there: please report it via F1 with details if this happens!
  • Audio volume sliders for "City Music", "Planet Music" and "Other Music" do not affect anything yet

Devices
  • 3D Printer
    • Fixed printer getting stuck when transferring finished item to Station Storage
    • Fixed an issue where ore crates would appear to have wrong amounts of ore after consuming large amounts at once
    • Improved device field feedback and control
  • Resource Utility Box
    • Prevented Resource Utility Box working if it's not bolted to a lot module
    • Resource Utility Box no longer requires power to operate, fixing issues where the device would not be able to draw power from storage if it didn't already have power
  • Station Foundation Blueprint Projector
    • Updated the projector that is being sold at Marketplace with a version that can be picked up
    • Fixed inventory icon
    • Fixed Station Foundation Blueprint Projector Button texts
    • Updated the description
Economy
  • Removed 3D Printer from Marketplace
  • Changed Station Foundation Blueprint Projector's primary material from Bastium to Tengium
  • Changed Resource Utility Box's primary material to Tengium
Effects
  • Fuel Rod explosion
    • Removed some unneeded effects
    • Adjusted the scale of overall effect to be larger
    • Reduced the duration of effects significantly
  • Plasma Turret
    • Reworked Hit effect with better "attached" timings/durations. Minor tweak to afterburn effect lifetimes
  • Propellant Tank explosion
    • Removed some unneeded effects and reduced overall duration
Gameplay
  • Fixed Remote Explosives detaching and drifting away from the intended explosion location after other Remote Explosives had exploded
  • Added transponders to lots and player stations
    • Transponders are on automatically and show only to yourself for your lots and stations
    • For stations, the transponder will become active after the Station Foundation Blueprint Projector has been activated
    • For lots, the transponder will be active immediately after renting it
    • Players can adjust range in the Stations menu-tab
    • Transponders only added to player lots and stations for now
Interior Designer
  • Fixed not being able to remove bolts that were originally placed in the editor and then built
  • Updated tooltips to show how many and what sized connection ports each module has
  • Removed an invisible window from the default layout
Inventory
  • Mining Backpack
    • Changed item slots to be dynamic
    • All slots may fit 1x1 items or merge and fit 2x1 items
    • Added six more slots
  • Fixed ammo stacks of different kind making other ammo stacks disappear when swapped
Jobs
  • Forced automatic collecting on Mining Backpack while in Mining Job area
  • Added cleaner collection areas around each workstation that will collect all materials without rewarding credits
Menus
  • Added "Stations" tab with Building and Transponder settings to the personal window
Renderer
  • Fixed some objects disappearing before going out of the view (eg. 30 degree beams, Lever Handles)
Resource Networks
  • Prevented direct resource network connections between separate inventories (eg. two ships, or a ship and a lot)
    • Pipe and cable connections, and direct device-to-device connections do not connect to networks
    • Resource Bridge connections remain functional
Ships
  • Player mass now affects ship movement
Ship Designer
  • Manufacturing ship parts from materials now consumes power and affects manufacturing costs
  • Changed window resizing with Mouse Button 2 to require cursor to be on the edge of the window
Ship Shops
  • Added Test Flight buttons to terminals
  • Updated player-made ships
    • Buffalo
    • Mammoth
Stations
  • Added de-spawn areas around Ore Storage Towers and Ship Design Workshops with 10 minute timer
  • Replaced walkway intersection in small grid slots with a variant that doesn't have railings that were colliding with other modules
  • Fixed misplaced take-off docks at Origin Command Center and player spaceship shops
  • Fixed floating staircase near Origin Marketplace
  • Fixed multiple gaps between station beams at Origin
  • Fixed grid slot collisions caused by Interior Wall C 9
  • Changed Refill Station's LOD to a correct one
Station Building
  • Added automatic safe zones to player stations
    • Safe zone is formed after the Foundation Unit is complete
    • Safe zone is removed when the ownership is resigned, but it is activated again when the ownership is claimed
Station Designer
  • Removed an invisible window from the default layout
Tools
  • Bolt Tool
    • Added outlines to the bolt that Bolt Tool is pointing at

  • Added objective counters to Mining Job tutorial
