Update 3.9.2020 (Build 237)

Audio
  • Fixed Laser Cutter not stopping sound when unequipped
  • Modified Plasma Cannon sounds
Economy
  • Lowered ship assembly costs
  • Reduced ship component pricing
  • Changed Window Frames to use plate materials
Effects
  • Autocannon
    • Modified shoot FX to look more appropriate for the caliber
    • Modified hit effect to more of a kinetic hit, less "explosive"
    • Added additional spark effect
  • Laser Cutter
    • Fixed FX light making blue areas appear green
Emotes
  • Added "beckon" emote chat command in addition to "beckon1"
Demolition Job
  • Fixed desync issues in multiplayer
  • Fixed despawned ships rewarding credits after returning to Demolition Job
  • Fixed temporary tools not despawning, when insurance transfering to non-safezone
  • Removed batteries, magazines and interactables from ships
Gameplay
  • Rail Cannon can be used for mining again
  • Fixed Cargo Lock Beams locking onto their own structure
  • Fixed an issue where thin objects could not be bolted manually
  • Cargo Lock Beams are now disabled when grabbed
  • Adjusted Window Frame material configurations
Inventory
  • Every item in an item collection has to fit in the slot the item is attempted to be placed on
Keybinds
  • Zero gravity related binds have been cleared in Controls -> Player movement
    • Zero gravity roll left
    • Zero gravity roll right
    • Zero gravity pitch forward
    • Zero gravity pitch backward
Lot Designer
  • Added new hallway ramp modules
Settings
  • "Detach Lifeline from stationary spaceships when moving past the range" is now enabled by default in Gameplay -> Lifeline
  • Minor edits to Gameplay texts
Ships
  • Fixed cargo mass position fluctuating, affecting Cargo Lock Beam, Cargo Lock Frame and Modular Ore Cargo Crates
  • Fixed Vasama not flying straight
  • Added new player-made ships to Rando 1 and Rando 2
    • Coyote by Fixer
    • Manticore by Heretic
    • VoxelWing by Odik
  • Added new player-made ships to Rando 3 and Okim 2
    • Kreeft by Greatmatenate
    • Moneymaker by Okim
    • Moneyman by Okim
    • Starbream by Mutleyx

  • Credited Hypevan, Catbox and Protector player-made ships
Ship Designer
  • Partially fixed stuttering and lagging in Ship Designer
  • Fixed issues caused by assembling or deleting lamps
  • Added Audio Signal Device Mark I
  • Added "non-functional furnace" descriptions to all furnace components
  • Paint and Material Tool
    • Holding down mouse button now paints continuously
    • Added material stats to tooltips
  • Socket Tool's cable and pipe now counts towards Cable limit
  • Moved Window Frame 192x36x24 cm to Window Frame folder in Asset Browser
  • Changed Window Frame 192x36x24 cm's default color to match with basic plates
Stations
  • Infantry Arena Ruin Station
    • Fixed arena not appearing correctly
    • Added color-coded starting points
    • Polished farlods
  • Added new Ship Shops for player-made ships
    • Okim Industries Spaceship Shop 2
    • Rando 3
  • Deleted duplicate holograms from Work Hub and station blocks
Universe
  • Disabled fogs at moons for now
Known Issues
  • Audio Signal Device Mark I will undergo changes in later patches so use them with caution and at your own risk
  • Moneymaker, Moneyman and Voxelwing do not work properly yet
  • Demolition Job may still desync if the session host changes while a demolition is in progress

Can this one be elaborated?
Are there problems with the ships themselves or with how they are being bought / spawned?

Can this one be elaborated?
Are there problems with the ships themselves or with how they are being bought / spawned?
I'm providing second-hand info here, but this is my understanding:
* No problem with the ships at all
* New bug creeped in Ship Designer at the last minute - related to rotating ships (it breaks welded connections)
* The ships in the Shop have been rotated, thus they are broken because of it

Once we noticed the bug it was too late to take the ships out, sorry!

Is the demolition job implemented in CA yet, or only in the experimental testing build as yet?
And if it is in CA, where does one find it?

It is in the CA! You can find it in the work hub, next to the Mining Job. Make sure you have the latest build of the CA.
