Cheesy oneliners are always good, but I guess this one really sets the tone for me

I am an avid gamer of tactical FPS games, and I love grand strategy. I do also enjoy immersing myself in builder games and management games. Looking forward to seeing you all in space

I should probably write a bit about what I want to do in Starbase..

I want to make a free base-esque type place where people can visit as they please and do as they please in a sort of open community: https://forum.starbasegame.com/posts/51/ <- I made a thread about that here..

Although I think a lot of goodwill might be required to accomplish that.

I read on the wiki that eventually safe zones can be created outside the major stations created by the game:

Major stations exist within safe zones controlled by large factions in order for peace to be maintained between the galaxy's inhabitants.
Safe zones are restricted to these major stations, though eventually safe zones can be established elsewhere in the galaxy as well.

If this is the case then I'm pretty sure your freeport will work out well! Just be sure to get a trustworthy crew so nobody tries to steal from you and you should be set!
