Are the maneuvering thrusters vectored at all? So if I had a thruster on the back of the ship anghled 45 degrees up forex; would it be capable of firing straight up, or would it only fire in direction pointed?
They only fire in one direction. If they are diagonal, the force applied is diagonal.
And depending on how far their thrust vector is from CoM, they apply appropriate torque as well.
