who dominate the battlefield? One super battleship or a group of nimble fighters?

In the future , when we have developed into huge factions and start the battle which hundreds of players deployed, what kind of ship will be the mainstream design ,the Juggernaut with heavy armor and mega canon, fight as a unbreakable fortress,or we will choice the smaller cruiser which have both the maneuverability and fire , or we will choice the carrier tactics, join fight with hundreds of single pilot fighters plane and play like Ace Combat? whats your opinion?

Speed and maneuverability will be everything, I think. If you're a slow battleship, small and fast ships can take pot shots all day with the long-range weapons, and you'll probly struggle to hit them back; you're a much bigger target. So you'll need an escort of your own fighters to keep them off. Small and fast will by far be the most popular unless we get "big ship weapons" that take too much power for a 1-generator fighter. Think of the rapid light missile launchers from EVE.

If we will have 'big ship weapons' , we may have giant ships. It's the only reason I can thought about the benefit of a big ship.

Consider cost and strength factors
I think that the spaceship can be divided into three levels according to the size of the space and the amount of content it carries.
Large spaceship
Medium spaceship
Small spaceship
Large spacecraft are used for formal military missions, provide logistical supply and maintenance functions, and carry powerful long-range weapons for firepower output.
Medium spaceships are the most common and largest number of spacecraft in the military, used for daily border patrols and low-intensity war and counter-terrorism operations.
Small ships are suitable for use by security companies and special forces, as well as law enforcement police, for various armed operations in peacetime.

IMO almost every ship size will have it's role, bigger and slower ships would be more suited for objective offense and defense, small and fast ships would be more suited for hit'n'run attacks and support roles in bigger battles.

You aren't running a railgun fighter with only 1 generator.

also keep in mind, you can have the baddest ship in the entire game decked out with weapons and other awesome perks. but that sweet mechanical device is still just a tool, really its gonna depend on the operator of said tools. 3 ships of small stature fast and mobile with half descent weaponry manned by experienced and competent pilots could out play a squad of a dozen ships with inexperienced pilots and gunners.

I feel like so enterprising individual could come up with a way to create a small fast fighter with a railgun, obviously it would take more than one gen, but it could be done if one was committed enough don't you think?
Let me correct myself. You can actually run on 1 generator for a fighter with a railgun, but your ability to recharge the gun is determined by power supply/generation. So, it can run a railgun, but its reload will be atrocious, to perhaps unusable/ineffective.

I think its all based on strategy and skill. You need both to succeed and both can be applied to large and small ships. A group of fighters can miss hitting a large ship by miles if led poorly and trained poorly. However, a seasoned capital ship captain and well trained gunning crew can wipe fighters from the space with ease. Likewise this can be said in reverse...

I think tag team ships will be the most effective. Ships that are small and fast, but have a crew of 2, one flying, one on a mounted gun. This way the Gunner can always be firing at a Target even when not facing it.

I think the bigger factions that have larger navies would have dedicated aircraft carriers with escorts to perform different tasks that can't be put on the aircraft carriers while smaller factions might have bigger cruisers that have a wider range of weapons to cover more scenarios since the cruiser would probably need less crew and overall materials as a carrier as they don't have many if any fighters and so would focus more on direct ship to ship combat and anti fighter defence, whereas the carrier would focus on deploying fighters that act as its main combat ability.

And forming a swarm, this would be deadly.

The thing about all this is that fighters especially two person fighters use more resources and personnel per the same amount of space as a larger battleship as you could have one person controlling a turret or two of guns while on a fighter with a turret would have fewer weapons for the same amount of people. Also a fighter with a rotating turret would probably a fair bit larger that the single person fighters. Finally if you have a swarm of fighters then there would have to quite a large carrier to hold all the fighters which would present quite a large target and if severely crippled or destroyed then the fighters would be left stranded which would be a lot of resources and pilots wasted as unless they are specifically designed for long range travel, which is unlikely given that they would be used in close range attacks on ships and so would want to have lots of armour and weapons and so be would have to be deployed from a dedicated carrier.
