    FYI: YOLOL chips in chip sockets can be read by other players even in the safezone. The "lock" really just seems to be a "screensaver" so that rendering doesn't take too many resources (rendering lots of different changing text can be expensive).

    Does one of you have a bad connection? We had the case were the ship got hosted by someone else in the group, after which the owner couldn't see it anymore. The blocky look could be because the ship changed host.

    Apart from the point that development doesn't really work that way - it's split between different people each fixing bugs in their part of the software - I disagree. Exploits can in the worst case produce things like untraceable hyperinflation, massive destruction of in game property or worse...
