    Fuel is corrosive btw, and can leak. Just, as I said, glass is typically nonreactive to acids and bases. Its why we use it in chemistry.

    I tend to think the idea I posted is a fun way to have shields without them being an HP pool. It also allows a wide array of customization.

    The safezone mechanism is also the mechanism that makes stations not move, is my understanding. So slapping on on a ship would make it a station?
