I'm still questioning the effectiveness of multi-role ships.

I'm sure that ramming through the outer plating and wedging yourself into a corridor on the enemy vessel would be quite fun.

I'm sure as the game gets closer standardisation would get better.

My reaction would largely depend on whether its a known station or if its just something that popped into existence recently. If its the latter investigating peacefully is always a good idea, would rather not start a war.

Factions will for sure create their own, somewhat expected there.

I still fail to see the practicality of such a large ring when many factions will have a host of mega stations of their own. What makes the ring idea better than a conventional station other than the fact that it's a ring.

Needs to also be accepted by any major militaries.

I'd imagine defensive internal architecture would be key for boarding defense.
