I don't believe there is plans to implement any form of AI into the game fighting wise, but there is always YOLOL ;)

I think it would be a great feature to have the ability to change the colour of the lazer cannons, imagine making a scale replica tie-fighter, but the cannons are red. no no no not allowed. Even just for the general aesthetic for colour schemes would be amazing!
