proably not wings in the traditional sense but im sure areas that dont have dakka on them will be behind a spaced out bit of armour to block incoming shots. these could be winglike or just fins

im pretty sure we can put guns on the rail system we were shown, and have armour doors open and they pop out. so when your attacked you can show your not so unarmed, as for checks, im not sure there would be a point

if they could get it in game without having to do sandbox mode i would approve, we also need to know more of scrapping an old ship, how fast can that be, how easy is it to remodel a blueprint as well. Lots of unknowns im looking forward to learning about.
