    Problem there is: You either have mediocre armor all around and can still fly semi-nimbly, or a heavily armored crate that basically is a barely flyable bunker. My Cross Fury Artillery Ship probably won't even HAVE front armor, it's a siege engine designed to do as much damage from as far away...

    Well regardless if a Cargo Beam Lock disables a Ship's Thrusters or not, most Boarding Pods will probably have Cargo Beam "Grabbers" so they don't just bounce off on impact.

    Yeah, more reactive Aiming is actually one of the things Fighter-craft are going to have over larger Ships, since YOLOL is rather sluggish and makes Direct "Analog" Input far more responsive for Turret Turn-tables.     You might reconcile my Username from the Reddit or the Discord; I'm one of those who talks a lot about SPACESHIP COMBAT and Design. Actually love that there is a proper Forum now, as Reddit doesn't give topics a long shelf life and the Discord has grown far too huge to be able to keep up with.
