Star Citizen has mostly been a let down, completely unoptimized atm and the gameplay isnt all that great, multi-crew ships are where its at in there right now, and honestly I miss Worlds Adrift and this will cure that hopefully I think...

I would like to create a ship that has rail mounts on all sides of it programmed with YOLOL to move turrets on different sides with a single press of a button, several in fact to make it so you can continue to fight while the gunners move their turrets around in an automated fashion.

Dang you got me there, what I was suggesting was that you could have a mid-range cost anti-emp device as a sort of protection, part of the hull as it were similar to vessels we use in the current military!
Should be a sovereignty option similar to EVE, you police your own space, and your own space station. However, I think shields/defenses for your stations such as a whitelist should definitely be a thing, automation is a part of this game via YOLOL, and should be abused to this effect hopefully

Wondering if it would be possible to create a very high cost EMP type weapon that disables endo-skeletons and shipboard electronics for a short amount of time, making ships/players go DIW (Dead-In-Water (or space in this instance)) for a short duration, as well as EMP-proofing to counter this...
