Docking Technology

I am currently building a long run mining mothership, with the idea of having multiple small miners inside it. It would be amazing to have some sorts of docking technology like in Space Engineers for data/ressource transfer and maybe propellant and power, stuff like that but at least ore transfer and securing them to the ship, instead of bolting them down and transferring the ore manually. I have allready seen some posts in this regard with 3D renders and everything, and I think in a versatile game like this, it is a must have.
