How much space must be free in order to exit a turret seat?

I have an armored turret setup (thanks to Calenloki and Dusty for the advice), but am having issues getting out of the seat now. How much space is needed, and where? This is the current interior looking from the front.

I don't have the answer for you, but I'd love to see the exterior. And turret turntable setup, if you used more than 1.
