How PVP gonna happen here?

The map in this game is huge and ships small and visible from only like 3-5 km and also there is no exact places where you can find someone cos of randomly spread resources and huge planets. That means you can fly around for hours without meeting any other ships. That means finding random PVP is hard in here. So how devs gonna solve this problem in future? any pvp place with some unique items, ores and etc? Radars?

Random encounters are going to be very rare, that is true. Unfortunate for all factions that rely on others' spaceships to gain value (TCC, or Hel Astronautics). The community has been talking about random events to initiate fights (something like the airdrop from many BR games, just in Starbase), but I don't remember if the devs spoke about anything like that. Nonetheless, I believe that trading routes will end up being established between major stations, and that's where you strike your prey with your gorgeous ships!

Remember, all players are in one server. Around populated areas, you’ll expect to run into a few people. This already happened to me in closed alpha, even in the asteroid belt.

If people are already meeting each other in CA, I'm sure it'll happen plenty once the game opens up. Populated stations will always have some activity around them somewhere.

One important thing I haven't seen anyone mention here is resource distribution. IIRC, Starbase is going to have different regions in the asteroid belt with much higher densities of certain minerals. This means that these regions will have more or less players in them, depending on the importance/value of the resources they contain. I'd say it's safe to assume that anyone looking for a fight could probably find some miners and/or escorts to raid or pirates to clean up in these areas.

From top of my head some mechanics to increase discovery of other players. Most mechanics are not yet implemented, but all of them are planned.
  • Hubs: stations, fast travel gates, large asteroids, moons, cities/constructions/mines on moons
  • Rare ore sectors: the new asteroid belt has more strictly certain areas for certain ores, and some ores indeed are now more rare, at least in big amounts. So those areas will pull players for sure
  • Transponder/id system. While keeping transponder on is up to players, some factions may require it in order to identify people
  • Radiation mechanic: some ores as well as generators running will create radiation, which can be detected from longer distances
And some mechanics to avoid being discovered/attacked. Most mechanics are not yet implemented, but all of them are planned.
  • Staying inside safe zones and/or using only safe hubs for travel (dynamic station safe zones always nearby)
  • Staying away from populated hubs, unless they have large enough safe zones to be enter/leave without others noticing
  • Keeping transponder off
  • Not carrying anything radioactive or covering all radioactive with enough blocking plate layers, using batteries/solar only, and when using generators, using them inside dust clouds/other blocking material
  • Intimidation. Make your ship to be (and look) a tough nut to crack, or make sure the other understands it's not worth to attack you, or just get enough reputation, and ones attacking you will most likely be those who didn't know better.
  • Hiding behind asteroids or inside dust clouds
  • Flying at max speed away from attackers and having enough defense mechanisms or flying to dangerous areas to get the other to drop the chase
There's also option of fighting back, or even using the discovery mechanics to lure pirates to seek you, and then attack them instead.

The balance we are looking is around risk/reward, and with smart playing it should be relatively safe to venture outside safe zone. However, if one is willing to take increased risks then the possible rewards will also be significant.

It's great to see the devs making their ways into forum discussions where conversation can stay on topic. That being said. I really like all of these ideas. I like that they add to gameplay, and player choice, rather than limit.

What XenoCow said. All of these features seem to be more focused on letting the players create safe and dangerous areas through their own gameplay. It's going to be interesting seeing how SB's universe grows and evolves overtime.

so according to this i can say that the most of pvp can happen between station safe zones, big/rare/radioactive ore nodes. Also that a bad idea to leave your ship without radiation protection cos radiation will be leaking from your ship and many players can track you. Also it sounds like you can bait defenceless ships by just leaving some radioactive things in space and waiting in a ambush.
