Does anybody know if we are going to be able to make round hull pieces, it seen that only flat panel can be use right now.
Look at the front panel there is alot of gaps and misaligned.

I don't know about the rounded side.

If clearance allows, laser cut to have desired parts at the factory.

Otherwise, cutting out triangles solves the vacuum problem.

J'ignore pour le côté arrondi.

Si le jeu le permet, découper au laser pour avoir les pièces désirer en usine.

Sinon, découper des triangles, cela résolve les problèmes du vide.

It all scales with size, but there are no round pieces in the game. The Nebulon-B (pictured) was a very specific shape and therefore hard to plate.

Currently, you cannot make round hull plating, however, you can do interesting things with 5-degree welding onto ship frames. Kap did some interesting things with these recently, here are some examples:

I'll just leave it here...

You don't need rounded parts. Just enough determination.

What we do need is support for frames at 5 degree angles.
Makes framing so much smoother.

That's mostly true.

In theory ball has the best volume to surface ratio. But because all the components we have are boxes, it's quite hard tu utilize that.

Balls may be good shape for flying in really tight spots (i.e inside a station), as you'll never collide with anything by rotating. But there is hard any reason to go to such places.
