New features
  • Sprinting
  • Group invites and whispers are not limited to the same zone anymore
  • Ship towing is allowed within the current Safe Zone

  • Adjusted Rocket Launcher 3rd person reload animation's speed to match the new reload duration
  • Polished 1st and 3rd person "/point" emote animation

Effects
  • Mining Laser
    • Adjusted scale of Hit sparks and the whole effect to be smaller and not travel so far

    • Created new Hit, Shoot and Beam effects
    • Added "measurement" animation/pulse to beam
    • Recolored the entire effect to be more distinguishable from the beam effects
Gameplay
  • Added sprinting
  • Mining backpack will collect nuggets at a slower pace now
    • The pace should match with pickaxe mining pace
  • Fixed commenting in YOLOL breaking case insensitivity
  • Small balance adjustments to Armor Values
    • Aegisium (Armor Value 2.0 -> 2.1)
    • Merkerium (Armor Value 2.15 -> 2.0, Minimum Armor 0.45 -> 0.4)

  • Build Tool
    • Minor refactoring to material consumption logic
    • No longer necessary to point at intact voxels to use autofill
    • Repair targets can be now switched without releasing Mouse Button 1
    • Tweaked the blueprint hologram colors to be more visible
  • Universal Tool
    • New Durability visualization modes in Blueprint tab
    • Fixed blueprints being deactivated when tool was put away or the tab was changed
    • Fixed Blueprint tab not reloading ships after a restart
    • Fixed Material tab showing too much Missing ore, if the target object had taken voxel damage
Known issues
  • Electricity resource can be incorrectly found from Marketplace
  • Unwelding lot plates causes various minor issues
  • Sprinting while holding Mouse Button 1 consumes ammunition
  • Lot modules do not snap to lot doorways (can be placed manually)

Note: This patch will likely fix many of the ships that are currently showing as "Recovered" in the terminal, but if you still have a ship in this state after this patch, you can contact a Community Manager for support.

It has come to our attention that unfortunately, there was one change that happened in this patch that was undocumented in the patch notes. We have now corrected this and added the change to the patch notes.

The change in question:

Ship Designer
  • Decorative column A,B,C, and D are no longer available in Spaceship Designer
We are sorry for the confusion!
