Combat
  • Reduced the damage reduction done to torso from other body parts from 70% to 30%
  • Added a headshot multiplier of 1.2x damage
  • Antigel Rifle
    • Decreased damage from 40 to 30
    • Decreased hipfire accuracy a bit
Effects
  • Fixed Tractor Beam's hit effect jitter when the beam hit position moved
  • Fixed Range Finder's hit effect not showing up when the beam hit something
  • Fixed Cargo Lock Beam's visual beam effect updating at a slow rate
  • Mining Laser
    • Added a new, more forceful/stronger hit effect
    • Updated shoot fx to be more "electric" and forceful on startup and in general more in line with other laser shoot effects
    • Sped up bigger sparks
Gameplay
  • Fixed devices not consuming power, if consumption rate was set to 0.01 or below
  • Added "Allow using weapons while seated" option to Settings -> Gameplay
  • Changed Resource Bridge breaking threshold from 50% to 90% (10% missing voxels)
  • Changed "Utility Ammo" name to "Utility / Rail Cannon Capacitor"
  • Asteroid belt
    • Fixed duplicate asteroid loading
    • Fixed Valkite not appearing at all
    • Fixed damaged/changed asteroids not fully loading after logging out (if they're not locally hosted)
    • Made material distribution more local and not evenly spread

  • Added confirmation dialog to resigning rented lots
Menu
  • New customizable Quickbar
  • Prevented closing ESC menu too quickly after it was opened

  • Reworked ship frame integrity calculation to encourage more nuanced frame design
    • The frame connection mass flows now have a high weight in the integrity calculations, effectively reducing the significance of beam size
    • Per-part frame strength now scales according to average frame beam volume
  • Limited towing to ships located in the station area
  • Partially fixed damaged box thrusters causing the ship to spin
  • Made ship blueprint holograms more visible
  • Optimized collision situations a bit

Known issues
  • Player-made ships Estoc and Ironwing have frame integrity problems due to new ship durability calculation
  • Sitting in a pilot chair and standing up always puts the player in a relaxed pose
  • Breaking a thruster nozzle may cause that thruster to become blocked by the nozzle

Attached parts and removed some unused ones

Are these the outdated (old) ships that were there prior to 246 and just got some plates reatached on your side?
Or are they the updated submissions that were sent after 246 update?

All 3 Marmots, for example, were broken and resubmitted with fixes.

Yeah, old ships.

Don't buy any of the Marmots please. They can't handle the 246 cargo adjustments.

I really feel like we need a better system for updating the ships we have in the shops. I'm sure many of us are trying to keep our ships up-to-date with patch changes, and I feel our reworked submissions are overwhelming the submission process (at least I assume so, as they are not making it into the build).

Thank you for the feedback! We understand that players want to update their submitted ships as much as they can.
The newest submits may not always make it to the latest patch, but we try our best to get the updated versions to the game.

We are always looking to improve so if you have suggestions or specific feedback in mind you can reach out, for example in the #alpha-feedback channel on Discord.
We want to make the whole process as smooth for both players and developers as we can.
