Will starbase support Linux

I recently scavenger hunted a laptop and flashed Linux to it to make it more secure and faster which gave me the question in the title and if so what distributions
e.g
debian/debian based e.g Ubuntu

ubuntu based distros e.g Linux mint

opensuse

red hat Linux/red hat based e.g fedora

arch Linux/arch Linux based distros like manjaro

Deepin os

zorin os

theoretically it’s possible to use wine but there is bugs which game devs can’t solve and the game may not work altogether using wine
so support for Linux would be a good thing

There is already one guy who runs SB on linux, and apparently it just works. Or maybe it's through wine or sth.

Yeah I will also be When I get Alpha or purchase the game. I got in contact with a Linux user with Alpha and they said that it was as simple as download and play with steam for linux

I know its unlikely, but I will toss my vote for linux support here too.
These days very little ties me to windows, and having fewer things does let me stop deul booting. Right now the only reason I am holding on to my windows install is for three games, one of which I will be done with soon(singleplayer), and another will almost assuredly get proton support shortly after release.
