All objects are made of some material. All materials has unique attributes. With the Buzzsaw you need to grind down the armor value which is basically materials ability to negate physical damage. When the armor value is grinded out it will take a little time to fracture the object. The time...
Not going to speculate further into this while I have no idea how this is handled. It may very well be that NDA prevents us to speak anything about future changes after EA launch. If that's the case, problem solved.
This is my personal opinion, not 100% sure how Lauri wants to play this out.
I disagree. After EA launch all information about future changes should be announced publicly. Devs should keep quiet on things like this.
It could extend to that. But ship to station trade has it's own system in development. All trade and inventory managements will have their own easy to use systems.
Progress is towards this. Resource Bridges will be used to connect two resource networks. First for selling resources through it. Then refuel and charge ships batteries. And after that connecting two ships and share resources, like fuel rat operations and such. Perhaps even trade resources...
Also when the public transport routs are planned accordingly and once we add them back to game it will reduce travel time between important locations, helping new players a lot. The stations and world is huge because travel times. Increasing travel times shrinks everything down. We need to be...
Great feedback, thanks!
Most of the fixes and suggestions are already been worked out, it just takes some time. And you are correct about the jobs being a kind of tutorial for new players. More jobs are coming and improvements for the existing two will be done as well. Assembly Job is fairly...
The damage area is a bit narrower than the thruster but grows longer when thrust amount is increased.
And the damage area is currently not as long as the visual effect.
These are under development and not ready. We'll add them in the wiki when tested and ready to use. The connector device is called Resource Bridge. And the three red boxes are Modular Ore Cargo Crates. They are storage units and only for ore/materials.
The idea is that players can mine asteroids...
B would be closest. It's not bending, it's pointing straight from the thruster. It's "thick ray", so tube but not necessarily covering the whole thruster surface. And the length is dynamic changing with the thrust power. Each thruster type has it's own configs for this effect.
Mining the moon is still undecided. For now it's just all static. At the very least we can make the rocks mine-able. We will investigate ways to make the surface mine-able as well.
