Imagine this with me, it's the year 2030. Honestly right after the turn of the decade. The game Starbase is almost nearing it's 10th anniversary! That time flew by, image where you'll be 10 years from now. Possibly graduating college, maybe living somewhere new, getting that job you always wanted.
A young traveler is exploring Starbase, and finds himself checking out the space around Eos. Ancient space that has been exhausted of resources and trade as been extinguished. He spots something orbiting around the moon, a Starbase of grandeur. Battle worn with what seem like miles of exhausted machinery. Lights, sapping some of the last working solar arrays, flickering throughout the station. Retired from a time in which pirates and factions rose and fell as quickly as an aurora flashes across the sky. This is where history began in the ever expanding universe of Starbase.
A MegaStation that promised more than the first ring of Eos, that a dream that at the time seemed so distant, but possible. That young traveler is standing on what was to be laughed at 10 years ago. A Moon, A Megastation, and a Faction that would bring the best of the gaming community together.
Not many can say they were a part of gaming history. Sometimes it's hard to find that opportunity for success, especially with all the noise surrounding the idea of a truly immersive experience such as Starbase. It's up to you, would you rather read about the History of Starbase? How about you become a part of that History instead?
