I still thank that the 1 in any 2 v1, regardless of ship size or multicrew, should lose the vast majority of the time. As long as the 2 have even moderate ship(s) they should be at an advantage. So, unless the 2 have garbage ships or are terrible pilots / gunners, I think it is fair that they...
It should be noted that more than one option is selectable since players may enjoy more than one part of the game. It won't be clear where player preferences are until we get many more results.
I'm not convinced that there is a gap between having a player and not having one. If there is, why is it necessary to be filled?
I'm not sure I understand the situation you're describing. What kind of ship is "you" in this case compared to the medium sized corvette?
There are many roles that a player can have during combat. I am curious to see how players will want to play when it comes to fighting. Will everyone want to pilot fighters? Will a majority want to just be a boarding crew? Only one way to find out! Please only select the roles that you would...

I am very confused now. It sounds like you want auto-turrets in principal because you cannot get crew members for your large ships, yet you say that auto-turrets do not replace crew. If crew is still required, then I would think that the manual turret gunners that you say are needed for fighters...
I'd like to play Aha's advocate for a moment. I'm trying to think about how I would want auto-turrets to be implemented if I were to want them in the game...
I think I would want a device that acts like a laser range finder that can calculate the relative velocity vector of the object in it's...
I agree, but I think it would only be fair if the big ship has an equal crew number to those multiple opponents that it is fighting. Players are the most valuable resource in this game, If one large ship can do the work of more than one player, then why have crewed ships any more? Only small...
As attachment plates are phased out, I find myself lacking a small bracket for fixing things in tight spaces. Many times I have found attachment plates, especially the corner pieces, the best option for securing bits and bobs on ships after leaving the SSC. Sometimes I don't want to tear apart...
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the only reason beyond "auto-turrets are cooler than manual ones" to want auto-turrets is to be able to fight more than one opponent at once.
If this is the case, then it sounds like those who want auto-turrets want to be able to win against multiple...
I agree. I like that we have cheap, efficient, and powerful options for the thrusters and hope we can get meaningful tradeoffs for anything else that you decide to tier up.
Personally I would rather component specific options as opposed to the more aggregate thing going on now. As in , nozzles...
I would if I had one to hold onto. T^T
I'm honored to be included in yet another one of these showcases. Also, awesome job on all the ships. I'm excited to see that mech take its first steps!
My poor little computer is grateful for the optimization work. I'm sure the EA players will be too.
Also, I'm excited to try out the tutorials and the blueprint filler.
Please turn down the salt. Neva is taking the criticisms of his or her idea like a champ, better than is to be expected from most under the same circumstances. His or her opinions may be incorrect but I do agree that there haven't been enough concrete examples of the counter arguments, which...
Could it not be possible to have enough ammo for more than one shot?
Maybe Strill is thinking of very small scale battles, on the order of 5-10 players against a similarly sized group. I could see that kind of battle happening often as most player groups are pretty small even now. It may be...
I think that the ship will be miles away from the target station so they would fly out of render range before hitting. You might be able to fly along side the torpedoes with small ships, but at that point it might just make more sense to take the torpedoes with you and launch once you can see...
