Yep, That's all cool and all but it don't mean anything till I can get to see it first hand. When can we get to play? been waiting since the introduction announcement! Give out Early/pre alpha or something! Hell... I'll pay to play. wouldn't be the first thing I've spent lots of money on!

Read #sb-announcement and read the pins in #starbase-faq on the discord.

Ship thruster exhausts damage and push components & players have been added
Good to hear!

Can you tell us what's the damage area, so we can design our ships accordingly?
A: single damage beam (like SE or FtD).
B: damage tube extending whole thruster surface.
C: cone of damage.
D: bending trail, following visual trail.

B would be closest. It's not bending, it's pointing straight from the thruster. It's "thick ray", so tube but not necessarily covering the whole thruster surface. And the length is dynamic changing with the thrust power. Each thruster type has it's own configs for this effect.

Just out of curiosity, is the game going to have any Earth like planets or moons. I am thinking not since the idea is robots and AI, however I also think greenery may bring some life to exploration for those who want to do that.

Different colors are going to go a long way to help people organize and get immersed into the game. Hopefully it is cheap and easy to change to these colors.

Does this mean we won't have to bolt things by hand if we don't want to? Also is this available at start, or will we have to unlock it?

It's just for creating blueprint. You can just put beams in place, and SSC will connect them.

Actual physical ship building still need bolting. Either manual or by programming robot arms.

That's what I thought. Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Will thruster damage only be the size of the thruster shape or will the exhaust be larger behind the thruster?

Also will damage only occur where we see the colored exhaust or will it be larger than what we can see?

The "Ammo Stack" feature looks pretty interesting. Video shows that the ammo stack can be put into the torso slot. Are these slots act as a magazine belt let players quick reload, otherwise we have to open equipment UI and drag magazine to the magazine slot above R. Hand weapon slot? And, because of ammo stack can be put into the torso slot rather than the magazine slot, is that means we can load and fire one bullet at a time with ammo stack in the torso slot, or do we still need to fill them into a magazine first?
Besides, at the end of the video, it seems ammo stack floating in space has the same look as ammo magazine, make it kinda confusing.
