No, not at the moment.
The steam workshop won't be hosting the blueprints, and currently the only method of sharing is person to person in a shared instance of the ship designer.
28 weapons, 20k eps, 50 meters long, 4 decks, 8 remote turrets, full bridge and engineering rooms, respawns (when implemented), armory, resource storage, nav system. Thats what i have so far.
Currently, I think we're missing too many features to be able to tell what we should have done. We need the material properties added in for sure. Balancing of reactors, cooling needs, and so on, may also be called for.
I've been working on my current ship since a month before I got into CA, and I was one of the first people to get in. Its still not done. Been working on it for hundreds of hours now, lol. Its a big ship, but still, making ships is a huge time investment.
I have an armored turret setup (thanks to Calenloki and Dusty for the advice), but am having issues getting out of the seat now. How much space is needed, and where? This is the current interior looking from the front.
I know what they mean. The problem is that there's 8 bolts in half the joiner plates there just to turn the beams yellow (they won't turn green) and then you end up chasing the stress around the frame. The ships frame itself doesn't require this much effort.
No. I'll show you here.
See how the whole thing is red? I've had to bolt this assembly more than I have had to bolt any other assembly I have ever built. I place a bolt in one section, and it upsets the balance so much that somewhere else is over stressed. I'm chasing stress around this frame...
