It all scales with size, but there are no round pieces in the game. The Nebulon-B (pictured) was a very specific shape and therefore hard to plate.

Yep, each of those 4 slots are their own piece of armor, and the sections get bigger when you hover over them. I believe clothes are cosmetic items, but I don’t know how set in stone they are. I’d like some cloaks, and a hazmat suit to protect your endo from corrosion and nebulae!

It does do that, it’s hard to see from that view. Also, the length is nice for seeing the thrusters from far away, and when there is less thrust output, the trails get smaller.
